Android phones are coming in so thick and fast it’s tough for any one model to stand out by simply being a smartphone. The XPERIA PLAY is an Android 2.3 (aka Gingerbread) smartphone with a 4in display, so it’s quite large, but where it tries to stand out is by being the first PlayStation certified Android phone.
