Android phones are coming in so thick and fast it’s tough for any one model to stand out by simply being a smartphone. The XPERIA PLAY is an Android 2.3 (aka Gingerbread) smartphone with a 4in display, so it’s quite large, but where it tries to stand out is by being the first PlayStation certified Android phone. That means when Sony launches its PlayStation Android games store later this year, the PLAY will be capable of running them.
